As part of our Rabi’ to Rabi’ fundraising campaign, The Greensville Trust are delighted to announce that our publishing house, Furthest Boundary Press, has commissioned a new translation of Shaykh Yusuf al-Nabahani’s highly regarded work Al-Anwar al-Muhamadiyyah, to be translated by Khalid Williams.
Imam Yusuf Al-Nabahabi (1849-1932) was a Palestinian scholar, one of the great revivers of the deen in the last century, and one of the foremost imams in the sending of salawat on the Prophet ﷺ. Al-Anwar al-Muhammadiyyah is his abridged rendering of Imam Qastilani’s work and a beautiful capturing of the essence of the Prophetic way.
In fact, explaining his reasoning behind choosing this book for the project, our beloved Shaykh Ibrahim noted that it has long been highly spoken of, and more strikingly, that Habib Umar, may Allah preserve him, has called it a “curriculum of nubuwwa”.
Not only will this translation be a means of drawing hearts closer in connection to The Beloved of Allah ﷺ, but its translation will be a contribution to the enrichment and fragrancing of the English language.
Khalid Williams, the translator, is known for his previous translations of Our Master Muhammad by Imam Abdallah Siraj al-Din, Muhammad the Perfect Man by Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki, Love in the Holy Qur’an by HRH Ghazi bin Muhammad, and The Qur’an and the Prophet in the Writings of Shaykh Ahmad al-Alawi.
To bring this project to life, we are seeking 92 people to donate £1000 each for the publication of this book. Donations can be made in your own name or as dedications to loved ones. All 92 names will be printed in the book, acting as a legacy and Sadaqa Jariya for this blessed endeavour.
The book is planned to be printed and distributed in Rabī’u’l-Awwal 1448 (August 2026).
